Joint position from GAROP
Following the recent final round of consultation, our joint consensus position has now been published! It has been shared on our website and social media channels. Please help us to disseminate the position paper and share it with your governments ahead of the UN Intergovernmental Working Group’s first negotiation session next week.

This joint position has been prepared by GAROP in consultation with our members and through grassroots consultations conducted by members in 12 countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe, involving almost 200 older persons. GAROP is grateful to its Content Working Group for leading this work and to all of the members who have contributed in different ways.
